JEANNE L. SMITH

ATTORNEY

McKinney & Company Law is pleased to announce the addition of Jeanne Smith to the firm as an Associate Attorney.

A lifelong resident of the community, Ms. Smith is a 2017 graduate of Muncie Central High School. She continued her academic pursuits at Ball State University, where she graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Political Science. Ms. Smith earned her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2025.

Upon passing the Bar exam, she was formally admitted to the Indiana Bar in October 2025. Her credentials further include admission to practice before the United States District Courts for both the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana. During her time at IU McKinney, Ms. Smith distinguished herself as a legal scholar, contributing to the Indiana Law Review with her published Case Note regarding federal "Bump-Stock" regulations.

At McKinney & Company Law, Ms. Smith will focus her practice on Criminal Defense, Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, and Estate Planning.
